It is with great sadness that we must announce the passing of a longtime resident, Arliss Ann Yeend. Arliss is a beloved sister, mom, grandmother, and treasured friend to many. Arliss passed away at Sacred Heart Hospital in Spokane, Washington, on June 7, 2025, one month to the day of her 90th birthday. Arliss was born July 7, 1935, in Longdale, Oklahoma, to William Jacob and Addie Alice Maycumber Cain. She was the oldest of two daughters. Her youngest sister followed three years later. Arliss moved off the farm and back to Park Plaza as a resident three and a half years ago after Darrell passed away, until her passing. She was a lifelong member of the First Church of the Nazarene in Walla Walla, where she taught Sunday School and was a piano player for many years.
