Annette Gonzalez

Annette Gonzalez of Walla Walla passed away peacefully at her home on Tuesday, Dec. 31, 2013. Annette was born to Francisco Gonzalez and Ermila Garcia Gonzalez (deceased) on Jan. 26, 1960 in Walla Walla.

Annette was a free spirited person, she danced through life with a smile, always maintained a positive attitude and concern for others. She was always willing to help others in need even if she didn’t have much of her own. She also enjoyed spending her time at Wildhorse Casino and playing bingo. She was also a great mother but the best grandmother. She will be missed by many but most by her children and family.

Annette is survived by her five children, Monique Gonzalez-Perez, Thomas Gonzalez, Veronica Gonzalez Esquivel, Erica Soto Pedraza and Fabian Gonzalez; nine grandchildren; three sisters; two brothers. She is preceded in death by her mother, Ermilia Garcia Gonzalez.

Annette’s family also wishes to thank Freseniaus Dialysis Center, Dr. Faustin Stevens, Barbie Dickenson and Steve and Sharon Dalke (transportation) and all her drivers, Bonnie, Dennis, David, Myron and JW.

Viewing and visitation will be held Thursday, Jan. 9, 2014, from 2 p.m. until after the Rosary at the Herring Groseclose Funeral Home. The Rosary will be recited on Thursday, January 9, 2013 at 6:00 PM also at the funeral home. The funeral mass will be celebrated on Friday, Jan. 10, 2014, at 2 p.m. at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church with Father David Kuttner celebrating. There will be a graveside service for Annette immediately following the Church service at Mountain View Cemetery.
