Anita C. Lepiane, 81, passed away on November 28, 2017 at the Sacred Heart Medical Center of Spokane, WA.
Anita was born on May 27, 1936 in Parsons, Kansas to Roy and Lela Stone Bauman. Soon after, the family moved to the Walla Walla Valley and Anita attended Milton-Freewater schools, graduating from Mac-Hi in the class of 1954.
On September 3, 1961, in Milton-Freewater, OR, Anita married the love of her life, Frank R. Lepiane. The couple raised two children, Linda and Ross. Anita was a full-time homemaker and created a warm and loving home for her family.
Anita was a member of the Milton-Freewater First Christian Church, Walla Walla VFW Auxiliary and the Walla Walla Elks Lodge by proxy. She rode thousands of miles on Harley Davidson motorcycles with her husband, and in later years they often enjoyed fiddle music and dancing.
Anita is survived by her Husband Frank R. Lepiane, Daughter Linda (Tony) Horner of Walla Walla; Son Ross (Kathy) Lepiane of Spokane, WA; Sister Rosemary (Dan) Inabnit of Leavenworth, WA and 3 Grandchildren.
Anita was preceded in death by her Parents, 2 Brothers: Larry Bauman and Everett Bauman, and 2 Sisters: Charlotte Bradfield and Leila Bauman.
Viewing and Visitation will be held on Friday, December 8, 2017 from 9:00AM until 12:30PM at the Herring Groseclose Funeral Home. Graveside Services will be held at 2:00PM on Friday, December 8, 2017 at the Mountain View Cemetery with Pastor Ken Mayberry, officiating. A Memorial Service will follow at 3:00PM on Friday, December 8, 2017 at Grace Church of Walla Walla (located at 3rd and Poplar) with Pastors Ken Mayberry and David Jones, officiating.
