Angelo "Andy" Louis Castoldi

Angelo “Andy”Louis Castoldi passed away peacefully in College Place. Born on July 22, 1925, in Walla Walla. He live in Walla Walla and College Place his whole life.

He served in the Army as a Private First Class. He served in WWII in the Asiatic Pacific Theater from 1945-1946. He worked in the community at Washington Machinery and later was a partner in Blue Mt Auto Parts in 1974, until he retired. In retirement, he enjoyed coffee with friends, mowing lawns and going to Wildhorse.

Proceeded in death by father, Santino “Sam” Castoldi; and mother, Caroline Castoldi; sister, Mary Zaro; and brother, Donald “Red” Castoldi. Survived by nephew, Kevin Castoldi of Walla Walla, his wife Tracy Castoldi; step-children, Arioch and Arianne Brauer; nephew, Darin Castoldi of Spokane, his wife Jessica Castoldi, Sierra and Easton Castoldi children; numerous family in the Walla Walla.

Kevin and Tracy would like to thank the caring staff from the Home-Based Care at the Walla Walla VA Medical Center. Their stellar care for Andy was so appreciated and we are thankful he had those benefits, to help care for him.

There will be a rosary on Monday, January 23, 6:00PM at Herring Groseclose Funeral Home, 315 West Alder in Walla Walla. Funeral service will be on Tuesday January 24 at 10 a.m. at the funeral home. The burial will be held at Mountain View following the funeral service. All family and friends are welcome.
