Andrew Owen Phillips

Andy was born July 10, 1966, to Victor and Eloise Phillips in Portland, Oregon. They moved to Walla Walla in 1979.

Andy attended Pioneer Junior High School, where he received academic honors. He graduated from Walla Walla High School in 1984 with a scholarship to attend Washington State University. He returned home and did cannery work at night until he had a mental break. He was diagnosed with a mental illness. He received counseling and medication, which eased his symptoms. He died of natural causes on March 10, 2025.

Andy leaves behind his parents and his two brothers, Tim and Steve. We are thankful for caring friends.

Andy's memorial service will be held on Sunday, March 23, 2025, at 2:00 PM at the Chapel of the Herring Funeral Home. 315 W Alder St, Walla Walla.
